Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:
See what data we have about you, if any.
Change/correct any data we have about you.

Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

TRANSPORTATION POLICY:

PAYMENTS, FEES & RIGHT OF REFUSAL:
The $150.00 application fee and $500.00 deposit are nonrefundable. It takes a tremendous amount of time and effort for the Jess’ Way team to find you the perfect nanny, even if you find someone in the meantime, or decide not to hire a nanny through Jess’ Way. We do offer expedited services for an additional $1000.00. If we do not find you the perfect nanny in 3-weeks the fee is refunded. The placement fee is also nonrefundable. However, your satisfaction is our goal. If for some reason your nanny does not work out within the first 90 days, Jess’ Way will help you find a new nanny. Both Jess’ Way and their clients reserve the right to cancel a contract after 6 weeks. If either the client is deemed to be uncooperative or have unrealistic expectations, or the family feels as though they no longer want to use Jess’ Way’s services, both parties are able to cancel. Any disputes that arise will be addressed using arbitration.
NANNY PLACEMENT:
The initial interview allows Jess to understand exactly what you are looking for. Jess’ Way standards are very stringent and before you even hear about a candidate, we have already interviewed them on the phone and in-person, and checked their references. When Jess talks to you about the candidate, you can decide if you want to meet them.
Our nannies will help with all aspects of care for your children including washing, folding, cleaning and cooking. Responsibilities do not include tasks related to parent or household care. However, if your family needs or requires this, we are happy to help. If you are interested in hiring someone who will complete those tasks, you may want to consider hiring a nanny/household manager, which would be an increased pay rate.
The first few weeks are a big adjustment for the family and nanny. Please be patient as your nanny is getting used to your schedule and house rules. Jess’ Way is here to help resolve issues on both ends. If the nanny is consistently having trouble adhering to your requests, Jess’ Way offers assistance in speaking with the nanny directly, or terminating the nanny if needed. If the nanny is fired, or quits within 90 days, Jess’ Way will help the client find a replacement at no additional fee. If the nanny is demeaned, disrespected, or asked to complete duties outside of their scope of work, Jess' Way will help the nanny leave the position and Jess' Way will no longer work with that client.
NANNY POLICIES:
Jess’ Way receives zero of our nanny’s pay and takes no commission. Our nannies are not required to pay any portion of their salary to Jess’ Way. Once our nannies are matched with a family, the family pays the nanny directly.
$20.00 per hour is the starting point for basic care of 1 child; however, your pay will be determined by your experience, schedule, and the family needs. We are happy to work with the family to negotiate terms that are satisfying to all parties .
Health insurance availability is determined and discussed during contract negotiations.
Three years of nanny experience is a minimum requirement to be a Jess’ Way nanny. You also need to be CPR and First Aid certified, have great references and other training or skills are a bonus.
To protect the privacy of Jess’ Way clients and nannies, we do not release certain contact information, social security numbers, criminal background check, motor vehicle check, or any other sensitive information to the client or the nanny. If required, all pertinent information is shared after the hiring process is complete.
